Hi
What is and where is the lastest version of WINREC available?
Were there any good alternative audio recorders / samplers?
Cheers

WIN REC / AlternativeAudio Recording software

Did a quick google search and that only listed it as version 1, so not sure if newer versions are available.
If your after a recording package with sequencing, reaper is good and free to download, and for recording and editing, audacity pretty much does everything and has vst plugin compatibility on mac and pc, directx on pc, au on Mach and ldap on Linux so plenty of plug ins to go at whatever your platform.
Hope that helps

Ah, google was not my friend, mind you I've been out of the loop recently sorry about that.
I'll look again when I get chance though I'm limited to iPhone and iPad at the moment.
May be worth checking tje links page to see if the author or the software developer website is listed, if not I'll see what I can do when I'm back home at the end of the week.

Hi, I think 1.5 was the last version.
Do you have try Studio Son?

The last version you can find at:
http://doyeuxyvan.free.fr/studioson/std ... D2093E.ZIP
The is another multichannel software V-Trax on the Studion Son homepage. But never try it out.

Yep, tried that a few years ago! Loaded it up ... but I don't recall managing to get it to work!
There was another basic but very functional Falcon sampler 'Super Sampler' 100% asm! it needed to be registered, however I didn't know if the chap was still there! ( pre having internet ) Anyone know about that? I'll get more details when I am in Falcon land again.
cheers
